My Process
Every piece you see here is created using 100% wood stain as my primary medium. Rather than traditional paints, I work with a wide range of Minwax oil-based and water-based wood stains, layering shades of brown, black, grey, and vibrant colors to create depth, contrast, and detail. Many of my artworks are painted on custom-shaped wood panels that I cut myself using a jigsaw and scroll saw. I also build most of my own frames, allowing each piece to be presented as a unique, handcrafted work of art from start to finish. Sustainability and character are important parts of my creative process. I often incorporate reclaimed pallet wood into my work, transforming weathered materials into one-of-a-kind pieces, including functional art such as my stained bee and honeycomb desk.
Whether creating wildlife, nature-inspired scenes, childhood memories, custom commissions, or decorative pieces, my goal is to bring warmth, personality, and craftsmanship to every project.
